Love Prevails

When I use my greatest strength
all of my heart
to push the darkness away
triumph is sweet

When I feel the pain
searing hot,
but no longer deadly
wounds disappear
and healing endures

When the joy stands free
and the chains fall away
the sky itself too small to contain it
the world brightens

When my mind clears
and the fear retreats
the present leaps into focus
and the truth is revealed

When I am with you
life stretching before us
filled with new hope
love prevails.
