Return of the Swallows

The first day after first infusion treatment for myasthenia gravis and my swallow reflex is working again. I didn’t know how much I missed it until it was gone! What a relief, to be able to simply swallow!!

It’s the little things.

Also, my diaphragm is working better, I can now take a deep breath again.

Wonderful to be surrounded by so much incredible technology and skilled staff, Long’s Peak Hospital is treating me with great care.

I cringe to think about what might be happening if I were travelling in some distant place.

So, yeah, it could be much worse.

Since I’m no longer on Facebook, I’m planning to start blogging more. Stay tuned.
