Les saves the girls from a poisonous snake
While camping in the Adirondacks last week, a rattler made the mistake of landing on our campsite. He learned real quick, you don’t mess with my Dad. Even at 79, he’s a force to be reckoned with!
My uncle Les is such a man. The passage of time has not dimmed his fire one bit.
God how I love him.

This morning, August 18th, the news was blaring from CNN and MSNBC: Donald Trump Bails Out Ed McMahon! The story that followed told us that poor ole Ed had fallen ill, was having a hard time financially and was in danger of losing his home. Now, I do not lack for sympathy for this poor man who had such an illustrious and munificent career and who can, even now, be seen on commercial television hawking insurance for oldsters so that they will not be devastated by one of the lingering illnesses that we oldster are prone to develop.
George Kinney on Electric Politics. Superb! His intro hits it squarely on the head. He describes Republicans as ‘the Militantly Stupid’.
One of my favorite political bloggers, Bob Geiger is back from hiatus.
I can’t wait. He takes the Congressional Record and makes it read like a Tom Clancy novel (laced with sex and intrigue so… actually… even BETTER).
